Sawtooth Media knows that each client is not the same - listening to the client's goals and formulating individualized campaigns are just as important as applying our necessary knowledge and skills when optimizing an account. Our approach starts and ends with the client. It is important for us to learn about your business and the challenges you are facing. We like getting down and dirty, learning the insides and outs of your business. While we are a fluid company and are open to different channels of operation, we typically follow a format to keep objectives in line.
Assessment
What are your overall company goals? What do you expect to get out of PPC marketing? Are you new to PPC marketing or have you experimented with it before? If so, what were the results?
Planning – Phase I
While keeping your overall goals in mind, here is where discussion takes place. What can be accomplished with your budget? What landing pages on your site are important to you? Are your goals to drive traffic? Drive sales? What are your timelines? What are your strategies?
You are more than welcome to be part of the planning process – in fact, we encourage it. However, this is our job and after the initial discussion, a plan will be constructed and presented based on your goals, timeline, and budget.
Planning – Phase II
Present the plan to the client. This is where creatives and keywords are evaluated, landing pages are chosen. Then the client approves the plan; changes are made, the plan is finalized, and the campaign is built.
Implementation
After the clients final review, the campaign is launched: accounting settings are put in place (geo-targeting, budgetary amounts, etc), and the campaigns, creatives, and keywords are uploaded.
This is where our magic comes into the picture; while a close eye is kept on the client’s goals and objectives, the campaign runs for enough time in order to gather enough data to make tweaks.
Optimization
Tweaks can be made in many areas. Areas that will be monitored for improvements will be all of the following places but not limited to:
- Ad Creative Optimization
- Bid Optimization
- Keyword Optimization
- Keyword Expansion Opportunities
- Engine Analysis
Reporting Administration
After all is said and done, reports for a certain time period are constructed and provided. This will show you the progress and trends of your keywords week-over-week, and how they are affected by certain optimizations made and seasonality.
